General Counseling
Express Sessions with a General Counselor
Express Sessions are designed for students to get their questions answered quickly and are "first-come, first-served." Please note that these sessions are structured for quick questions and a follow-up regular appointment may be necessary. Students can sign up by calling 760.795.6620 or using our new Live Chat feature available through the 鈥淎sk The Spartan鈥� portal which is available 24/7 in the bottom right corner of your screen and on our homepage.
To reach Counseling staff, type 鈥淟ive Chat鈥� and if someone is available you will be connected. Please note: Most 鈥淟ive Chat鈥� is available during regular business hours.
We offer Express Sessions through both in-person and live Zoom consultations over your computer, laptop, or smartphone. When you sign up, our staff will ask your preference and give you a timeframe when the counselor will reach out.
Express Sessions can fill up very quickly, so we advise students to contact us as early as possible to get your name on the day's list.
Veterans Counseling

Workshops For First-Time-to-College Students

We have an online workshop for YOU!
Our "" are live Zoom sessions run by our counselors and designed to get you up-to-speed on the basics of building your schedule. Workshops are limited to 10 students and you must have a 美姬社区 student ID to sign up; .
These workshops are for new students who have never attended college, are returning after taking some time off, and high school students. If you are using military benefits and are new to 美姬社区, we have special support for you, too!
