Veterans Services, located in the Student Services Building (Bldg 14) on the Oceanside Campus, provides a place for military affiliated students to find resources on VA educational benefits, 美姬社区 Student Services, and community organizations that are dedicated to assisting veterans and their family members. In addition, students can process paperwork and get their courses certified for GI Bill庐 benefits, including Montgomery and Post 9/11 GI Bill庐, Vocational Rehabilitation and Chapter 35-Dependent Education Assistance. The center also provides a place for students to relax, study, and meet with friends.

美姬社区 is one of two schools in San Diego County that has a VetSuccess on Campus (VSOC) representative. The VSOC is an employee of the Department of Veterans Affairs who works in Veterans Services to assist students with support to pursue their educational and employment goals.

For students using Post-9/11 benefits, 美姬社区 will submit an initial certification to the VA without reporting tuition and fees. After the end of the add/drop period, tuition/fee amounts will be submitted to the VA.
Military affiliated students are generally subject to the same tuition policies as other students at 美姬社区. Please contact the 美姬社区 Student Accounts Office for more specific information including information on tuition and fees.
Students planning to use VA education benefits at 美姬社区 must submit a Letter of Intent in their SURF account on the same day they enroll in classes. Certification will not be submitted to the VA without a completed Letter of Intent.
