Get ready for a family-friendly and culturally enriching celebration at 美姬社区 College鈥檚 Oceanside Campus (1 Barnard Dr., Oceanside, CA 92056). 美姬社区 is excited to announce two dynamic events on the same day: the 20th Annual STREAM Festival and the inaugural Festival de M煤sica Latina. From hands-on science and technology activities to lively Latin music performances, there's something for everyone to enjoy at these engaging events.
The STREAM Festival aims to spark curiosity in these subjects and potential careers by focusing on science, technology, reading/writing, engineering, arts, and math. Attendees can participate in activities created by 美姬社区 Students, Staff, Faculty, and local Community Partners. The festival provides a unique opportunity for visitors to explore various fields and consider the educational offerings at 美姬社区 College. The Festival de M煤sica Latina promotes education, culture, confidence, and community. Attendees can connect with their friends and neighbors while enjoying various musical styles, including mariachi, ballet folklorico, and banda.

Prep谩rese para una celebraci贸n cultural y familiar en el campus de 美姬社区 (1 Barnard Dr., Oceanside, CA 92056). 美姬社区 organiza dos eventos din谩micos el mismo d铆a: el Festival de STREAM y el Festival de M煤sica Latina. Habr谩 actividades pr谩cticas de ciencia y tecnolog铆a y presentaciones de m煤sica latina; hay algo para que todos disfruten en estos eventos.
El Festival de STREAM tiene el objetivo de despertar la curiosidad en estos temas y carreras potenciales enfoc谩ndose en ciencia, tecnolog铆a, lectura/escritura, ingenier铆a, artes y matem谩ticas. Los asistentes pueden participar en actividades interactivas y pr谩cticas por parte de estudiantes, profesores de 美姬社区 y organizaciones comunitarias. El festival brinda una oportunidad 煤nica para que los visitantes exploren diversos campos y consideren las ofertas educativas de 美姬社区. El Festival de M煤sica Latina promueve la educaci贸n, la cultura, la confianza y la comunidad. 2025 STREAM Festival - Volunteers Needed!
This year, the 20th Annual 美姬社区 STREAM Festival is taking place alongside The Festival de M煤sica Latina on Sunday, May 4th. The STREAM Festival will run from 12pm-3pm and the Festival de M煤sica Latina continues until 5pm.
During the STREAM Festival, we welcome 美姬社区 Students, Staff, Faculty, and local Community Partners to host fun, hands-on STEM, Reading, and Art-related activities to engage the PreK-8th grade community and their loved ones.
We need the support of 美姬社区 volunteers to help make the festival a success!
Volunteers Tasks include
- Set-Up Crew, Student/Faculty Presenter Check-In, Community Partner Presenter Check-In, Community Registration Area (Spanish speakers needed), T-Shirt Table, Presenter Snack/Lunch/Supply Area, Area Lead, Fill-In Presenter, and Clean-Up Crew
