Associate in Arts for Transfer (AA-T) & Associate in Science for Transfer (AS-T)
美姬社区 offers the following Associate Degrees for Transfer to the California State University (CSU). The degrees, developed as a result of the Student Transfer Achievement Reform (STAR) Act, are designed to provide students with a clear pathway to a CSU designated similar major and to the attainment of a baccalaureate degree.
CSU Similar Majors
Students who earn these degrees will be granted priority admission to a CSU campus in a similar baccalaureate (BA) degree program with a guarantee of junior standing as long as the student meets all prescribed admission requirements. Completion of an AA-T or AS-T degree does not guarantee admission to specific major. Admission may be to an emphasis or option within the degree or to another degree program at the participating CSU campus. Once admitted, the student will be required to complete 60 additional prescribed units to qualify for the similar baccalaureate degree.
CSU Priority Admission
Priority admission is defined at most participating CSU campuses as .1 GPA bump awarded to students completing an AA-T or AS-T for an Impacted Major or the awarding of a.2 GPA bump for a Non-impacted major on a participating CSU Impacted campus. 美姬社区 students earning an AA-T, an AS-T or completing traditional admission requirements, as found at have local priority admission to California State University San Marcos. Many CSU campuses are granting priority admission to students within their local service area.
