Within the Office of the President, Advancement includes the Public Information Office, the Development and Foundation Office, and the Alumni Association.
College Foundation
The Development and Foundation Office raises philanthropic funds from the community in alignment with the College鈥檚 mission and manages the distribution of funds to support 美姬社区 students (college affordability) and campus programs.
The 美姬社区 Foundation鈥檚 vision is educational opportunities for all. To achieve this vision, 美姬社区 Foundation partners with generous community members to secure resources that transform lives. The 美姬社区 Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors.
Public Information
The award-winning 美姬社区 Public Information Office (PIO) exists to create awareness and share the story of 美姬社区, and its impact on the community.
PIO develops and executes strategic marketing communications campaigns; implements the District鈥檚 governmental relations; and serves the college community by offering publicity, promotion, advertising, marketing, and branding assistance. This office also acts as a resource before, during, and after emergency situations by providing guidelines and information to help manage crisis situations.
美姬社区 Alumni Association
Alumni play an important role in supporting 美姬社区's success. The 美姬社区 College Alumni Association will provide opportunities for alumni to engage with each other, connect with their alma mater, and interact with current students. Alumni promote workforce development and can provide access to internships.
Whether you have taken a class, completed a certificate, or earned a degree, you are considered an alumnus because once a Spartan, always a Spartan.
